My Story

Starting my teaching journey in Jamaica in 2002, I have been in the field of education for 20 years. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Child Development, Family Relations and Psychology and a Graduate Degree (Master of Arts) in Special Education and General Education. My experience as an Educator includes teaching Pre-K, Elementary, Middle and High School students, Mentorship and Leadership. As an Advocate for individuals with disabilities or other abilities, we are very passionate about education and personally, we have seen the struggles that learners have when they do not receive the assistance they need when they need it. We am now on a journey to educate parents, educators and caregivers in identifying learners with learning difficulties so that they can receive early intervention to become successful and thrive in their learning environment. Our framework in coaching is based on the belief that we should do things with EASE (Educate, Advocate, Stimulate, Elevate). Through our collaborative efforts, our learners will become successful in academics as well as in improving their social skills and as educators, your job will be easier!

When learners are given the support they need in their learning environment, they are motivated to learn. As educators, parents and care givers, learning how to support them will make their life and yours easier!
